Bucks County's Brooke Doucette Dies, 30 Bucks County native Brooke K. Doucette died on Tuesday, Oct. 4. She was 30. Doucette, of Plumstead Township, died from complications of an aneurysm, according to her obituary. Born in Doylestown, Doucette graduated from Central Bucks East High School and later studied at Bucks County Community College, her obit says. She hoped to one day own an animal sanctuary and enjoyed motorcycle riding, gardening, and cooking. Doucette leaves behind her parents Scott and Nancy Doucette, her brother Ryan A. Doucette, her dog Zero, and many other loved ones. Funeral services were held privately.

The Fairmount Fire Department vehicle was responding to a report of a medical emergency around 6:20 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, according to the Lansdale Police Department. On its way, it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of East Fourth and Ridge Streets, police said. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Employees of Maine Drilling and Blasting were throwing out boxes containing boosters when it exploded on West Center Street in Good Spring around 11:45 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police.
