Police have identified the gunman accused of killing three people in a New Jersey home Monday, Nov. 27. Om Brahmbhatt, 23, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Dilipkumar Brahmbhatt, 72, Yashkumar Brahmbhatt, 38, and Bindu Brahmbhatt, 72, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Ciccone and South Plainfield Police Chief Peter Papa said only that the 23-year-old Brahmbhatt lived with and was related to the three people he killed at the Traditions condo complex on Coppola Drive. A 20-year-old New Jersey man was clocked at 120 miles per hour on a Connecticut roadway, police said. Ethan Steier, of Warren (Somerset County), was in a green BMW when police spotted him near Exit 2 on Route 8 south, around 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 in Bridgeport, CT, state police said. A married construction worker from Cliffside Park who's accused of sexually assaulting a preteen is being held for federal authorities, jail records show. Delfino Simon-Roca, 56, was charged with sexual assault and child endangerment following a month-long investigation that began with a tip from the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Honda is recalling hundreds of thousands of vehicles due to faulty seat belts that could put drivers and passengers at risk. The auto giant announced that an estimated 303,770 Honda Accord and HR-V vehicles are subject to the recall for seat belts that could falter when motorists crash or jam on the brakes, increasing the risk of injury. Support is on the rise for a Morris County officer who suffered a spinal injury in a fall from a tree stand, those who know him say. Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said.
