Dorian Watch: Historic Hurricane Batters Bahamas, Prompts Coastal Georgia, SC Evacuation Orders Hurricane Dorian on Sunday became the strongest storm of its kind to hit the Bahamas -- and Atlantic Ocean's most intense in nearly 85 years -- with sustained reported winds of 185 miles an hour and gusts over 220mph.
