NJ Hospital Unveils New Glass Lobby As Part Of $150 Million Renovation Project Newark Beth Israel Medical Center's main lobby has gotten a facelift. The hospital is planning a $150 million facelift that includes a new recently completed 17,000 square-foot glass enclosed main lobby with modern seating areas, community meeting spaces and cafés.  On Tuesday, April 18, the hospital held a flag raising ceremony to celebrate the completion.
