Woman Run Over And Seriously Injured By NJ Transit Bus In Orange
A woman hit by a bus Thursday morning in Orange has suffered serious injuries*, a spokesman for the city confirmed. The woman was running along the left side of an NJ Transit 21 bus around 11:15 a.m. when she was struck, a spokeswoman for NJ Transit said. The woman was hit near Main Street and Glenwood Avenue. Air bags were needed to lift the bus off the woman, who was trapped beneath, the city spokesman said. Woman Whose Body Was Found on Orange Street Was Killed: Officials
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has begun a homicide investigation into the death of a woman whose decomposing body was found near an Orange funeral home last week. The woman, who remains unidentified, was discovered April 9 near the Cotton Funeral Service on Main Street. She is believed to be African-American. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a body was found near an Orange funeral home Tuesday. The body was discovered near a building owned by the Cotton Funeral Service on Main Street, WABC reported. The prosecutor's office did not immediately have additional information, including a cause of death or the identity of the woman.
