Morristown is about to get a taste of Hawaii. Shaka Kitchen, which has two locations in Hoboken, opened their third location in Morristown at 62 South St. this month. The restaurant is run by sisters Kiersten and Krista Gormeley, who spent a year in the Aloha State a decade ago that changed their lives. Planted Eats will be offering holistic counseling, detox and cooking workshops, along with CBD cooking parties at its Berdan Avenue location, according to its website. Planted Eats has opened in Hackensack. The organ, vegan and gluten-free eatery opened at the former site of Cups Organic on Essex Street (across from Bank of America next to the former Black Rebel Burger). This is the second location for Planted Eats, which opened last month at 61 Berdan Ave., in Wayne.
