A New Jersey man has been charged after presenting falsified bank statements in a Hudson Valley court and testifying they were real, authorities said. James Wolff, 50, of Teaneck, NJ, was arraigned on Monday, Sept. 30, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh II announced on Thursday, Oct. 3. Homicide Suspect In Car Full Of Ski-Masked Men Stopped In Morris County, Chief Says
A group of ski-masked men including one homicide suspect are in police custody after officers stopped them and found 25 stolen checks in the vehicle early Friday, Oct. 4 in Morris County, police said. A Florham Park officer stopped the car for traffic violations and noticed all occupants were wearing ski masks and dressed in all black, Florham Park Police Chief Joseph Orlando said. Newly-released bodycam footage shows the arrest of a 30-year-old woman who police say was under the influence when she crashed her car, which had been carrying a 16-year-old child in New Jersey. A 36-year-old woman has been arrested after police said she slashed someone's tires then threatened the homeowner ahead of her court date, authorities in Bergen County said. Trouble began on July 12, where a partygoer's car had two tires slashed on July 12, New Milford Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
