Route 208 Overpass Crash Closes Highway's Right Lane

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The right lane of southbound Route 208 was closed Tuesday afternoon after a car struck a guardrail in front of a protective barrier at the Maple Avenue overpass.

The driver appeared uninjured.

The female driver apparently wasn't injured after the 2:20 p.m. crash, which left a large antifreeze spill on the road.

Fair Lawn and Glen Rock police responded. Firefighters were being summoned to address the spill.
