A UPS worker called with a report of a baby bird stuck in a storm drain, and the squad immediately responded.

"It's a baby, way too young to fly," one said after the responders freed the fledgling.

Although fledglings have developed most of their flight feathers, they typically hop around -- awkwardly, at times -- before someday taking flight.
