Broadway was closed westbound between 32nd Street, where the 7 p.m. crash occurred, and 33rd Street while emergency crews tended to the injured and the wreckage was cleared.

Both vehicles were removed by flatbed tow trucks.

Road trouble was reported throughout Bergen County beginning late this afternoon.

Police in Washington Township reported at least two (2) separate crashes in which vehicles were damaged to the point of needing tow trucks.

One of those, involving a Jeep and a Mercedes Benz on Washington Avenue just west of Pascack Road, resulted in an injury to an 18-year-old driver.
