Brian Carlson, 54 (above photo, right), was on a job delivering cement when his truck swerved down one of the riverfront community’s steep hills and rolled into the house, landing on its side, around 9:45 Saturday morning, Edgewater police said.

Carlson, who was pinned in the cab, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Besides his children — Kevin, Cory and Kassandra — he leaves a wife, Renate, both parents, a brother and two sisters, and two nieces and a nephew.

An investigation was continuing.
