ONLY ON CLIFFVIEW PILOT: A man charged with stabbing three people during a brawl in Fair Lawn is innocent, his mother insists in an exclusive interview.
“The kid that got stabbed in the neck said there were two guys, but my son is being blame[d] for all three,” Karen Carle, whose son, 21-year-old Louis Pizzi, is charged in all three stabbings, told the web site.
The knifings occurred as 10 Garfield teens clashed with nearly a dozen from Fair Lawn last week.

Pizzi is being held on $100,500 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
However, his mother says there’s more to the story than what’s been revealed.
“The police dogs found 2 jackets with blood on them,” Carle said. “The kid who did at least two of the stabbing ran, so now my son is being blame[d]. [I]t just isn’t fair.
“[M]y son is not the blame for all of this. There [were] other people involved,” she said. “You don’t know who’s telling the truth.”
Carle said she is “really hurting right now, seeing all of this trash over the Internet and on TV news.
“[I] can’t even leave my house with out people coming up to me and asking me ‘[I]s that [your] son in the papers?’ you don’t what [I]’m going through having these people coming up to me.”
