Parents' Bankruptcy Could Force Fair Lawn Teen From Special Ed. Program

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A Fair Lawn couple whose son has been thriving in the district's special education program recently filed for bankruptcy due to unemployment, according to a GoFundMe page for the family.

If the Glassetts lose their home, it's unlikely that they will be able to afford even a rental home in Fair Lawn, which means that 15-year-old Sean will be pulled from the Bridges Program.

Family friend Julia Enerson is hoping she can raise the necessary funding to "Keep Sean in Fair Lawn," and help the Glassetts pay off their mortgage, taxes and other funds.
