Fair Lawn Sister Saves Brother's Handsome Husky

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A woman from Fair Lawn raised more than $1,700 on a GoFundMe page as of Saturday morning for her brother's beloved dog.

Bridget Guardia started the account for her brother and Fair Lawn native Ronnie Cordova, who needed help paying for his dog's emergency surgery to treat kidney problems.

"Rayo is my brother's first baby. He's been a part of the family since he was a puppy," Guardia said.

Rayo — "The Handsome Husky" — is currently recovering from his fourth surgery and is staying at the hospital over the weekend for precautionary measure.
