All funds raised will go towards the building fund. A citizen committee’s is holding fundraisers and different events across the area to raise enough money for the park that will be built on borough-owned land.

Once the committee raises enough money, they plan to form a non-profit that would handle all maintenance of the dog run. Glen Rock’s council will select the location for the proposed dog park, and will consider potential sites once the money has been raised.

Events get underway at 8:30 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. and include everything from Taekwondo classes for adults and teens to kids self defense classes, and a jumping jack-a-thon.

Admission is $20 per person or $35 per family.
