Man Charged With Aggravated Manslaughter In Irvington Killing A 32-year-old man has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and a weapons offense in the death of a 37-year-old Irvington man. Jonathan Quallis shot Ibn Vincent on the 400 block of Union Avenue around 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers said. Police arrived and found Vincent suffering from gunshot wounds. Prosecutor: 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Essex County Double-Shooting One victim died and another was injured in a double-shooting in Essex County over the weekend, authorities said. Eliameau Maxime, 32, of Orange was shot on Union Avenue in Irvington early Saturday morning, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said in a joint release with other county officials. Maxime was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:10 a.m., Stephens said. Authorities: Newark Man Killed In Double Irvington Shooting A 65-year-old man from Newark was killed in a double Irvington shooting, authorities said. Two men were shot near Lyons and Union avenues around 8 p.m. Sunday, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II said in a joint release with Irvington's police director. One of the victim's identified as Lawrence Peterson, was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to University Hospital, Stephens said. The investigation is active and ongoing.
