Here's something to be thankful for: Although we’ll likely suffer the annual miles (and miles) of traffic backups, the weather in New Jersey doesn't threaten to be a problem heading into Thanksgiving.

Newark Handing Out Thousands Of Donated Turkeys
Mayor Ras Baraka of Newark will be helping distribute more than 6,000 turkeys and other food items on Monday from noon to 7 p.m. at the JFK Recreation Center, 211 W. Kinney St. (enter on Howard Street).
Residents from each of the city’s five wards have pre-registered to receive their free turkey in time for Thanksgiving, Nov. 28.
