Police: Man Shot In Vehicle In Franklin Township A man shot in a car in Franklin Township was treated for his injuries at the hospital, authorities said. Police responded to the area of Oak Place on a report of gunshots coming from the direction of Route 27 shortly after 1 a.m. on May 16, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a joint release. The man was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and has since been released, authorities said.
