'Disgusting': Bergen County Man Dumped At Least 3 Deer Carcasses In Newark, Police Say
A Bergen County man was arrested for repeatedly dumping deer carcasses in Newark, authorities said.
Paul A. Bartella, 60, of North Arlington, is accused of leaving the carcasses in Newark three times across the city since June, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said.
He was arrested on warrants Wednesday night, after an incident on Verona Avenue near Broadway, police said.
He did the same on Aug. 3 on Chester Avenue and Riverside avenues, and on June 24, on the 200 block of Oraton Street, O'Hara said.

Trio Arrested For Illegal Dumping In Newark, Police Say
Three men were arrested for illegal dumping in Newark, authorities said.
David Chang, 24, of Brooklyn, Mikel A. Lopez, 23, of Englewood, and Steven Gonzalez, 25, of Union City, were spotted tossing debris from a U-Haul around 9 p.m. Sunday, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said.
They were spotted by members of the Newark Police Division’s Environmental Graffiti Vice Crimes Task Force near 49-59 Riverside Avenue, O'Hara said.
The materials being removed from the truck included mattresses, wood and black industrial-size garbage bags, police said.

Elizabeth Trio Nabbed In Newark Spray Paint Incident
Three Elizabeth residents were arrested for spray painting in a Newark underpass, authorities said.
Police spotted three people get out of a BMW spray painting an underpass wall near Chester Avenue East and Riverside Avenue and around 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.
Paige N. Gonzalez, 28, Ramon A. Arroyo, 27, and Anthony Rolon, 25, were arrested without incident, Ambrose said. Police recovered six spray paint cans and one marker at the scene.
All three face charges of criminal mischief.
