Woman Sought In Connection With Summer Newark Shooting
Police seek the public's help in locating an East Orange woman wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting. Shooting Nia Servance, 34, may have information to share in the shooting that occurred on June 25, according to Newark Public Safety Fritz G. Fragé At approximately 1:52 a.m., police responded to Hayes Street and 15th Avenue for shots fired. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Hit-Run Driver In Buddy's BMW Hurts Teen Girl Before Abandoning Car On NJ Turnpike: Police
A 51-year-old Newark man who struck a teenage girl in his friend's BMW abandoned the car on the NJ Turnpike before surrendering to police, authorities said. The 15-year-old girl was crossing Bergen Street at Springfield Avenue when she was struck by Jimmy Jones around 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. A disgruntled customer who bit a nail salon worker on the ear and attacked two others is being sought by Newark police in the incident. An employee of Angel Nails Spa on Jones street said the suspect was getting a pedicure when she became "irate and belligerent" about the service around 11:20 a.m. June 23, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. Authorities Seek Shooter Who Killed Newark Man, 30
Authorities are seeking the shooter who killed a 30-year-old Newark man last Friday. Michael Wyche was shot near 72 Hayest St., around 1:25 p.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephen, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. He was taken to University Hospital and pronounced dead less than 30 minutes later.
