Police: Gun Recovered During Search of Essex County Home Linked To Armed Hotel Robbery A handgun recovered during the search of an Essex County home is believed to be linked to an armed robbery at a Morris County hotel, authorities said. Officers from various law enforcement agencies carried out a search warrant at the home of Khalil Stewart, 18, in Orange on Wednesday, Feb. 19, Hanover police said in a news release. Stewart was taken into custody after they found a handgun possibly linked to an armed robbery at a hotel in December 2019, authorities said. Pierre Marcelin Jr., 18, of West Orange was also targeted in the investigation, stemming from the December robbery. …
