Jon 'JJ' Jordan Of Kearny Lived To Make Others Smile The Kearny community is mourning the loss of a 51-year-old man being remembered for his innate ability to bring others joy. Jon "JJ" Jordan died suddenly on Oct. 6, his obituary says. An El Salvador, native, Jordan lived in Kearny most of his life. He worked as an event entertainer with his family's business, Photo Bomb.  He was also remembered as a talented musician, grateful for his membership with KPM Music. A Belleville native, Sean was a lifelong Kearny resident who had a passion for music and movies, his obit says. Christopher Correia, 19, Of Kearny, Athlete Who Was Studying Sports Medicine Christopher Pastilha Correia died Friday. He was 19 years old.  Born in Hackensack, he lived his entire life in Kearny. A bodybuilder as well as a standout football player who also enjoyed soccer, he graduated from Kearny High School in 2017 and was studying sports medicine at Bergen Community College. He planned to become a physical therapist.  He is survived by his parents, Fernando and Julia (nee Pastilha) Correia; brother  Jason Correia, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
