The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has released the name of the woman who died in a house fire in Irvington over the weekend.
The fire broke out at a multifamily home on 41st Street Sunday afternoon. Firefighters discovered Geovanna Mora-Gamboa, 47, in a basement apartment and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to published reports.
The fire remains under investigation.
