Seen HIM? Newark Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

A 43-year-old man is wanted by Newark police in connection with an armed robbery Monday that left the victim seriously injured, authorities said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Elamin Muhammad of Newark on charges of robbery, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

Around 3:30 p.m. Monday a man at University Hospital told police he had been stabbed during a robbery in the 100 block of Evergreen Avenue. The victim had been stabbed in the stomach, police said.

Muhammad was identified as a suspect following an investigation.
