Parking Restrictions Early Next Week In Newark For Film Production

Officials have announced parking restrictions in Newark to accommodate film production in the city early next week.

Filming will take place for "Lincoln," a Universal Television miniseries, authorities said.

Following is the schedule of no parking restrictions 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, and 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. Tuesday:

No parking on Commerce Street from Broad Street to Mulberry Street

· No parking on Commerce Court from Raymond Boulevard to Commerce Street

· No parking on Park Place from Raymond Boulevard to East Park Place

· No parking on East Park Place to Kitchell Street

Intermittent traffic will be allowed on Commerce Street during filming.

Newark has recently been the site of filming for The Plot Against America, an HBO miniseries, West Side Story, a Steven Spielberg film, and The Many Saints of Newark, a film based on characters from The Sopranos.
