Tina Dung, 21, was stopped for the traffic light, but then went through the red signal and collided with a Legacy Towing flatbed wrecker heading east on Lakehurst Road around 12:25 a.m. Friday, July 22, Toms River police said. The three passengers in Dung’s car, all citizens of China, were killed as a result of the collision. Woman's Body Pulled From Water Off Jersey Shore A recovery team pulled a woman’s body from Barnegat Bay in Toms River on Tuesday. Authorities couldn’t immediately say how she ended up near the Route 37 Mathis Bridge. Toms River police and firefighters, the Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company and a New Jersey State Police marine unit initially responded to the bridge’s south side shortly before 11:30 a.m., township police said in a statement. The body was brought to the Aqua Blue marina, where Ocean County Crime Scene Investigation officers and a member of the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office met them.
