Retired Police Chief Opens Chick-fil-A On Route 46
Thursday, May 2, will be a big day for chicken lovers in Morris County. Chick-fil-A announced its the opening date of the new Parsippany location at 1180 Route 46. The restaurant will be open for pick-up, dine-in, drive-thru and carryout from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the drive-thru open until 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Chick-fil-A will be closed Sundays, of course. The restaurant will be opened by Charlie Atie, the former police chief in Prospect Park. The Chick-fil-A replacing a shuttered Hooters in Hackensack has an opening date. The Route 4 store will be opening Tuesday, March 1, and looking for 130 full- and part-time employees. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Hackensack will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Hackensack with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Another Chick-fil-A Opens In New Jersey
Popular fast-food joint Chick-fil-A is opening its 54th New Jersey location on Thursday, Feb. 24, NJ Advance Media said. It will be located at 3323 Route 9 in Freehold. For the grand-opening celebration, Chick-fil-A will give 100 local heroes in Freehold free Chick-fil-A for a year and donate $25,000 to Feeding America, the outlet said. Oprah's Mom Died On Thanksgiving, Family Reveals
Oprah Winfrey’s mother, Vernita Lee, died on Thanksgiving Day, her family confirmed on Monday. She was 83. Lee was laid to rest in a private ceremony.
