Mother, Son Seriously Injured Escaping Cliffside Park Fire: Report
A woman and man were hospitalized with severe burns after escaping a fire that broke out in their Cliffside Park home on Monday night, Dec. 16, ABC7 reports. The fire broke out around 6:21 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, inside a home on Lawton Avenue, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Police, firefighters, and mutual aid crews from surrounding areas rushed to the scene. A 55-year-old New Jersey man fell 60 feet while climbing a New Hampshire mountain over the weekend, sustaining head and arm injuries as well as hypothermia, authorities said. The Oakland man was climbing Mount Webster in New Hampshire’s White Mountains with a friend on Saturday, Dec. 14, when he slipped and fell. Daily Voice has obtained footage of a van fire, including a minor explosion, that closed a Morris County intersection on Thursday, Dec. 5 (scroll for video). A 35-year-old man died after being pulled from the water near a privately-owned quarry over the weekend in New Jersey, authorities said. Troopers responded to the Alpha Quarry at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 24, following a report of a kayaker in distress. Local police and fire departments located the victim, identified as Justin Lusk, of Alpha, floating in the water, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. E-Bike Operator Hospitalized With Head Trauma In Bergen County Crash
The operator of an electric bicycle was hospitalized in an early-morning Fairview crash Thursday, June 20, police said. The man appears to have tried to pass a landscaping truck while heading west on Fairview Avenue when he was struck by an eastbound motorist around 7:40 a.m., Deputy Chief John Pierotti said.
