Memorial Service Scheduled For Former Edgewater Councilwoman Neda Rose EDGEWATER, N.J.– A memorial service has been scheduled for former Edgewater Councilwoman Neda Rose, who died of pancreatic cancer on June 16. The Pittsburgh native was a member of Edgewater's governing body from January 1996 until June 2012. Rose founded both the Edgewater Arts Festival and the Edgewater Beautification Committee. She was President of MCE Corp. of Miami and hosted a talk radio show for a Pittsburgh station.  A memorial service will be on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Holy Rosary Church, 365 Undercliff Ave., Edgewater.

Closter Officials Predict October Opening For Whole Foods, Target CLOSTER, N.J.– Construction on two new Closter Plaza businesses are ahead of schedule, officials said. The developer, Edens, Inc., announced that Whole Foods and Target will open on Oct. 19, Mayor John C. Glidden said. "More businesses are moving into their new spaces and ribbon cuttings and mini-grand openings are taking place," he said. Bareburger, Starbucks, and 18|8 also joined Closter Plaza.  A major ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for the Whole Foods and Target openings, Glidden said.
