3-Year-Old Dies, Others Hospitalized In 3-Car Monmouth County Crash: Prosecutor
A 3-year-old girl died in a three-car crash on Route 34 in Monmouth County over the weekend, authorities said.
The crash involved a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a 2021 Ford Bronco, and happened around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 north of the State Route 33 interchange, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said.
The 3-year-old girl, who was riding in the Jeep Cherokee, was pronounced dead at the scene while a 2-year-old boy in the car was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the driver was seriously injured, Santiago said.

2 Drivers Killed In Head-On Crash In South Jersey
Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash in Burlington County, authorities said.
A northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee and a southbound Acura collided on Route 563 near milepost 30 at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Washington Township, said Trooper Troy McNair, a New Jersey State Police spokesman.
Both the Jeep's driver, Maureen Hanna, 22, of Pleasantville, and the driver of the Acura, Latoya Sotomayor, 36, of Egg Harbor Township, suffered fatal injuries, McNair said.
The crash remains under investigation.

Bao “Joanna” Huynh, of Brigantine, was sentenced on the charge of vehicular homicide on Thursday, Sept. 21, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. She must serve 85% of the sentence before being eligible for parole.

Man, 47, Killed When Pickup Strikes Pole In South Jersey: Police
A 47-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck was involved in a one-vehicle crash, authorities said.
Walter Green IV, 47, of Monroeville, was driving north on the 2500 block of Delsea Drive in Franklin Township when his truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole at 10:38 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, according to Franklin Township police.
First responders found Green unresponsive and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
