An Ocean County healthcare worker is accused of stealing fentanyl and another opioid from a medical facility, authorities said. Lauren Scholz, 37, of Brick Township, is facing several drug-related charges, Brick Township police announced on Monday, Jan. 29. A 48-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been arrested in connection with the theft of $47,000 worth of aluminum beams from a marine construction company, authorities said. A pair of alleged car burglars were caught after a wild chase in which the suspects tried to carjack several cars before smashing into an Audi, authorities said.
