North Hunterdon High School graduate, college student and beloved friend Kathryn Rose Berger left a heartbreakingly touching message in her journal that was shared after her death from brain cancer on June 1 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at the age of 20. The affidavit says Mooney's apartment was in "serious disarray" with syringes, pill bottle…

There would be no NVD District Vocal Music Day and the school productions of "Footloose" and "Mamma Mia!" would have been entirely different. So when it came to light that D'Achille would not be returning to the high school for the 2019-20 year, many students and parents were heartbroken. Students turned out in droves to Monday's BOE meeting, sharing heartfelt words on how impactful D'Achille has been in her t…

: Englewood Native Shoots Music Video At Alma Mater
Standing in Dwight Englewood's Silberfein Gymnasium, the memories seem to come rushing back to alumna Margot Bennett. She never felt totally comfortable in the high school gym. Actually, she felt completely out of place -- athletics were never really her "thing." But oh, has she found it. And so this time, standing in the Silberfein Gymnasium, 26-year-old Bennett feels right at home, filming the music video for her new song "FABLES," based on adolescent experiences formed nearly a decade ago in the same place. "Set in a high-school gym class, 'FABLES' is a tale o…
