AccuWeather has released a new weather map ahead of a winter storm approaching the Northeast. The above model shows rain and/or snow taking aim at most of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and northern Maryland early next week, likely sometime Monday, Feb. 12 into Tuesday, Feb. 13. : Route 17 Station Attendant Assaulted
SEE ANYTHING? A Route 17 quick-stop attendant was making change when a robber clocked him and fled with hundreds of dollars in cash, authorities said. The robber pulled a dark-colored BMW into the Exxon station on the southbound highway in Hasbrouck Heights -- just south of Route 46 -- shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Detective Bradley Dussault said. Snow Projections Released For End Of Weekend Storm In NJ
A warm weekend could come to a cold and snowy end in New Jersey, forecasters say. Between one and three inches is being projected in parts of Central and South Jersey Saturday evening into Sunday morning, AccuWeather.com reports. North Jersey could get some snow on Sunday, but likely a dusting, according to the National Weather Service. Temps will be in the mid-to-high-50s from Friday to Saturday night when they are expected to plummet to the mid-30s. Super Bowl Sunday is expected to be around 15 degrees while Monday will be sunny with a high around 27.

Two major blockbuster Nor'easters in the span of a week? It could happen. Another potentially major storm is taking aim on the region, this one on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7 into Monday, Feb. 8. The storm system that will arrive in the area early in the afternoon on Super Bowl Sunday isnow expected to bring mainly rain to most of the tristate region, according to the latest forecast by the National Weather Service.
