Burlington Opening New Location In North Jersey
Burlington is opening another store in Bergen County. The retailer, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening a location in Ramsey this fall at the Interstate Shopping Center at 235 Interstate Shopping Center, it announced. A specific opening date will be announced later. The company is headquartered in Burlington Township and currently operates 46 stores in New Jersey. Babies R Us Reopening At American Dream
After five years, Babies R Us is back. The retailer, a spinoff of Toys R Us, is reopening at American Dream in East Rutherford on Wednesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. following a ribbon cutting ceremony. These 11 New Stores Are Coming To The Shops At Hudson Lights
The Shops at Hudson Lights continues to expand with new retail outlets, restaurants and spots to play ping pong. Eleven new businesses have leased more than 25,000 square feet of retail space at the Fort Lee complex. UNLMTD Real Estate Group, which runs the complex, said they are at full occupancy. New Tenants Announced At Bergen Town Center
Some new stores are sweetening up the Bergen Town Center. Crumbl Cookies is one of several new stores opening at the shopping center in Paramus. The cookie shop has been expanding throughout the Garden State, with locations in Holmdel, Ocean Township, Clark and Cherry Hill. Another store coming to Bergen Town Center is Haagen Daaz. Burlington Opening Pair Of NJ Stores
Two more New Jersey Burlington stores are on their way. Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening one store in Morristown in March and another in Rio Grande in April, its website shows. The Morristown store will be located at 191 E. Hanover Ave., and the Rio Grande store in the Rio Grande Plaza, according to job postings from Burlington. Three dozen Bed Bath & Beyond stores in New Jersey are among 87 locations scheduled to close in 2023, the struggling retailer announced. That brings the total number of Bed Bath & Beyond locations scheduled to close to at least 162 announced since September 2022. A settlement has been finalized in the transformation of Hackensack's longstanding and iconic Sears building, NorthJersey.com reports. After navigating through bankruptcy, as well as not one but two lawsuits, the plan for the nearly-century-old building is to construct 258 apartments while simultaneously conserving the primary tri-story tower, the outlet reports. Three New Jersey Bed Bath & Beyond stores will shutter by the end of the year, the company announced this week. The company announced earlier this year it planned on closing 150 stores, and on Thursday, Sept. 15, released a list of 56 that will close by the end of 2022. An "Amazon 4-star" store is slated to open at the Cherry Hill Mall in early 2022, making it the third store of its kind in New Jersey. Target To Replace These Shuttered NJ Kmarts
Another Kmart store has closed its doors leaving just two left in all of New Jersey. The Kearny store on Passaic Avenue closed on May 2, NJ Advance Media reports. The storefront will be replaced by a Target store, according to Target's list of upcoming locations. Target will also be replacing the Kmart that closed in Wall on Route 35, and the one in Somers Point on 250 New Road. Only two Kmart stores remain in New Jersey: One in Avenel and the other in Westwood.
