Lightning Strike Confirmed Cause Of Death For 59-Year-Old 'Cowboy Hero' On NJ Beach
A Toms River man died from a lightning strike on an Ocean County beach, authorities said. A Seaside Park Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Daily Voice that 59-year-old Patrick Dispoto's cause of death was accidental and caused by a lightning strike. He was found unconscious on the beach near J Street at around 7:38 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. Police said Dispoto had no visible signs of injuries. Skeletal Remains Found At Jersey Shore Construction Site: Prosecutor
An investigation is under way in a Jersey Shore town where skeletal remains were found, authorities confirmed. The remains were found on a piece of property on the 1100 block of Narrumson Road in Wall Township Tuesday, March 12 where work is being done, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Attempted Car Theft Reported Near Gov. Murphy's Middletown Mansion
There was an attempted car theft at a home near Gov. Phil Murphy's mansion near the Navasink River in Middletown, authorities said. At approximately 3:25 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, there was a break-in at a garage that is in close proximity to the governor’s house, Middletown police said. The suspects tried to break into the home's garage and steal a Range Rover. A neighbor spotted them, and they sped off in a white BMW SUV, police said.
