DUI Driver, 65, Plows Car Into Building, Occupied Vehicles In New Milford: Cops (Photos) A 65-year-old DUI driver has been arrested after police say she plowed her vehicle into two occupied vehicles, a telephone pole, and a building in New Milford Friday evening, July 25. The crash happened around 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of Madison Avenue and River Road, New Milford Police Capt. Kevin Van Saders said. One of the occupants of the struck vehicles was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to Van Saders.  The driver of the vehicle who caused the crash was arrested for driving while under the influence and issued well other motor vehicle violation…

The residents weren't home when the blaze broke out in the kitchen at the back of the Voorhis Avenue home and quickly spread shortly after 7 p.m., New Milford Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
