Hoboken Bartender Dies Suddenly On 'Dream Trip' To Chile
A Hoboken restaurant is mourning the loss of one of its former bartenders who died on what loved ones say was a "dream trip" in Chile. Brian Kilduff, 27, of West Haverstraw, NY, died on Friday, Dec. 29, after becoming ill while in Chile, according to his obituary on the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home website. Brian enjoyed bartending in Hoboken, his obituary reads, and his former employer, Onieals Restaurant, penned a tribute to him on Facebook. Bret Alemy, an Air Force veteran who later served as police chief in Hardyston, died on Thursday, Jan. 4, while attending a retreat in Orlando. He was 50 years old. A community in New Jersey is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old high school student and twin, who died in a weekend crash. Isabella Todaro, a senior at Hackettstown High School, was identified in a GoFundMe as the victim of the Long Valley crash on Saturday, Oct. 7. The woman who died alongside her 9-month-old son after their car was found in a Central Jersey pond had been mourning the loss of her own father, according to her posts on social media. The DeSales University community is mourning the loss of a standout baseball player and two graduates killed in a weekend crash that left a senior student injured.
