PA Student, Child Actor Matthew Mindler Died Of Food Preservative Toxicity, Coroner Says Former child actor and Millersville University student Matthew Mindler died from complications of sodium nitrate toxicity, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. His death had already been ruled a suicide, as Daily Voice previously reported. Sodium nitrate is used to preserve meat like beef jerky, lunch meat or bacon and can be toxic in large amounts, according to the National Library of Medicine. PA College Senior Charged With Sharing Child Porn On Dropbox A Millersville University senior and dean’s list student has been charged with multiple felonies for distributing child pornography via Dropbox.Robert George Kiesel, 21, of Rawlinsville, was slapped with five felonies for “distributing images and videos of child pornography on the internet,” according to Pennylvania State Police’s Central Computer Crimes Unit. Mindler, 19, of Hellerstown, was last seen leaving his residence hall, West Villages, heading toward the Centennial Drive parking lot on Tuesday around 8:00 p.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time.
