Lidl is nearly complete with demolition to Snuffy’s Pantagis Renaissance, the more than 80-year-old wedding venue along Route 22 in Scotch Plains that shuttered sometime during the pandemic, according to Tom Strowe, the towns' director of redevelopment. Lidl Opening In Passaic County Shopping Center A new grocery store is coming soon to a popular shopping center. Lidl, which is based in Germany announced it is opening in Totowa Commons. While an opening date has not been announced, the 27,270 square foot store is set to open sometime this year.  This will be the grocery store's second Passaic County location, joining one in Pompton Lakes. The grocery store chain has 22 locations throughout the Garden State.

Lidl Sets Opening Date In Bergenfield Bergenfield's new Lidl grocery store has set an opening date. The German discount grocer will open Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. at the former Pathmark store on New Bridge Road.
