Worker Electrocuted, Killed By Live Wire In Mercer County: Police
A worker was electrocuted and killed while working on fiber optic lines, authorities said. Dean Kitchin, 52, of Cherry Hill apparently touched a live power line during the work, they said. His lifeless body was found on top of a box truck, according to Hamilton police. Hamilton police and firefighters were called to 11 Souith Gold Road for a report of a fire on Wednesday, March 1. There was no foul play, Hamilton police said. The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office was conducting an autopsy.

NJ Police Lt. Mark Horan Takes His Own Life After 24 Years On Force
A police lieutenant who took his own life over the weekend in his New Jersey home is being remembered as a devoted dad and exemplary officer. Hamilton Police Lt. Mark Horan died Saturday, April 30 in his home. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NJ Advance Media reports. Horan joined Hamilton's force in 1998 and assigned to the patrol division. He moved to the anti-crime unit in 2009, and a year later, was promoted to sergeant. In 2017, he was promoted again to lieutenant, serving in the anti-crime, patrol and administration divisions. Alert Issued For Mercer County Girl Missing Again
Police are looking for a Hamilton girl who is missing for the second time this week. Kahiee Howard, 13, was last seen 6:30 a.m. Thursday at her home on the 900 block of William Street by her mother, local police said. She had previously gone missing Monday, but was found safe on Tuesday. Kahiee is 5 feet and 4 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a yellow hoodie and frequents Hamilton and Trenton. Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact Hamilton Police Det. Patrick Tamasi at 609-581-4026.

When Hamilton police heard future police officer Quinn's fourth birthday party was cancelled due to coronavirus fears, they came to the rescue. Police officers found a way to make sure his day was special, announced here on Facebook. Quinn was thrilled when some of the officers showed up at his house as surprise guests.
