Police: Body Pulled From River ID'd As Missing Woman, 26 Police identified the woman whose body was pulled from the Hackensack River over the weekend as a missing 26-year-old who had been living in Bogota. Bogota Police Detective Victor Negron said his department identified the body as Sylvia Lubak on Monday. Negron could not release more information due to an ongoing investigation. Update: Female Body Pulled From Hackensack River This story has been updated. HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Authorities recovered a female body from the Hackensack River on Sunday, local police said. First responders arrived just after 10 a.m. following a report of an unidentified body in the water behind the Shops at Riverside, authorities said. The body was recovered at 12:20 p.m., Hackensack Lt. Darrin Dewitt told Daily Voice. Responders including the Hackensack police and fire departments, Oradell Fire Department, Bergenfield Fire Department and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office worked for more than two hours to recover the body.
