Pedestrian, 60, Struck, Killed Near 'Spaghetti Bowl' In Wayne A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night near the Wayne “spaghetti bowl,” authorities confirmed. John Baranski, 60, of Endicott, NY was struck by a 1998 Honda Passport in front of the Ramada Inn on eastbound Route 46 -- near the interchange with Routes 80 and 23 -- shortly before 10 p.m., they said. Woman Struck And Killed By Car Near Newark Penn Station The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a woman was hit by a car in Newark and died early Monday morning, a spokesman confirmed.  The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was hit near Penn Station, in the area of McCarter Highway and Market Street, around 2:20 a.m. She was pronounced dead at University Hospital about a half-hour later.  The driver remained at the scene, the prosecutor's office also said.

Woman Struck And Killed Near Newark Library A woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle around noon Tuesday near the Newark Public Library, authorities said.  The driver who struck her left the scene and was last seen heading towards McCarter Highway.  The Essex County Prosecutor's Office later said the driver was later found by Newark police and prosecutor's investigators a short time later.
