Man Struck By Train In Glen Rock Service was suspended to New Jersey Transit's Main Line after a man was struck by a train Thursday morning. The incident occurred in Glen Rock at 176 Rock Road, suspending service between Ridgewood and Paterson around 8 a.m., local police and NJ Transit officials said. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. There were no reported injuries to the 15 commuters or crew on board of the train, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackerman said. Rampaging Glen Rock Teens Destroy Statue, Stop Train Service, After Graduation As many as 100 teens ran wild following Glen Rock High School’s graduation, stopping train service, damaging an event area and stealing a statue of the school mascot, authorities said. The panther statue “was returned to our campus after a gracious parent put out the call for a return,” Principal Michael Parent said. It was destroyed, however, the principal said in an email to the parents of school seniors. Parent called the rampage a “disgraceful act” that he said was “committed by our own students.
