18 Unsolved Burglaries Cracked: Pair Arrested In Months-Long North Jersey Spree
Two men have been arrested and charged in 18 burglaries and one attempted burglary across North Jersey, authorities said.
A months-long investigation found Kali J. Carter, 49, of East Orange, and Demetrius D. Hale, 49, of Bergenfield, were responsible for the incidents, all of which were residential burglaries, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Services Set For Bergenfield High School Principal James 'Jim' Fasano, 59
Funeral arrangements have been finalized for James "Jim" Fasano, the longtime principal of Bergenfield High School.
Fasano died on Thursday, June 27. He was 59 years old.
An official cause of death was not released, however, Bergenfield Superintendent Christopher Tully noted that his passing was sudden.
According to the Riewerts Memorial Home, visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Conlon Hall in Bergenfield. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 3 at the St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church at 11 a.m.

A 26-year-old Fair Lawn man is facing charges for calling and emailing false threats to law enforcement agencies across Bergen County, authorities announced
Clyde Johnson has been charged with false public alarm in the series of anonymous calls and emails to Franklin Lakes, Paramus, Wyckoff, Maywood, Fair Lawn, Fort Lee, and Bergenfield police departments, as well as local businesses, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Infant Ingests Cocaine At Bergenfield Home, Couple Arrested
A couple were arrested after an infant ingested cocaine at the man’s Bergenfield home and had to be rushed to the hospital, authorities said.
The child was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center following a call for help from Seminary Court, a cul-de-sac behind Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, on Monday, Jan. 29.
