"We've all been teenagers at some point, right? Rowdy, rebellious, and rash decisions mark the lifestyle of many young adults, new to the world and eager to experience it," they wrote on a GoFundMe page.
"We sadly weren't very warmly welcomed to this world on a particular prom weekend at the Belmont Motel and it cost us a bit."
The money will go to the young man named Nick, who signed them up to stay at the motel, they said on the page.
Nick allegedly could face charges if the students don't give him the money they owe for "minor disturbances and a couple damages here and there."
