Sonja Kramer, founding owner of Cutie Cupcakes! out of Westwood, is encouraging her loved ones to bring a toy or nonperishable food item to the 7 p.m. fire house party for donation.

Kramer on Wednesday donated her cupcake creations to volunteers at the 27th Annual Bergen County PBA Toy Drive in Closter. Giving back to the community is an integral part of running a business, Kramer said.

"It’s so much harder for us as little people to do charity work," said Kramer, a Dumont native who lives in Cresskill. "[But] it’s our community and I want to help whoever I can whenever I can."

Drop gifts at the Cresskill Fire Department located at 51 Madison Ave., or email Sonja Kramer.
