Pedestrian Pinned Under Mail Truck In North Bergen: Sources A 60-year-old West New York woman suffered a collapsed lung after being pinned under a USPS truck in North Bergen Tuesday night, Jan. 30, sources tell Daily Voice. The off-duty USPS driver was turning left from 45th Street onto the Bergen Turnpike when he struck the woman crossing from west to east. Once the driver felt the impact, he didn't know if he should keep driving or stop his truck. He ultimately decided to stop driving, pinning the woman underneath the tire, Daily Voice's source with direct knowledge of the incident said.
