Alfredo Gagliano, 97, Of Waldwick WALDWICK, N.Y. -- Alfredo Gagliano, of Waldwick, died on Dec. 28. He was 97. He was born March 22, 1919. He worked at Benjamin Franklin Middle School in Ridgewood for many years. A parishioner of St. Luke’s RC Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, Alfredo enjoyed gardening, making wine, cooking, and especially family and friends. She was born in Dluzniewo, Poland on Oct. 18, 1924 to Jan and Helena Chyczewski. She married her beloved husband Nikodem Faryno on Dec. 31, 1948 in Poland. Yorktown Planning Board OKs Lowe's Site Plan YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown community is a step closer to getting a neighborhood Lowe's after the planning board voted to approve the site plan on Dec. 19, according to ciyinfo.org.
