‘Hidden’ car could keep Bogota man, 64, in jail for Christmas

Police said they called Gary Earl Hill after the woman reported her car missing.

Hill “admitted he had moved the vehicle but would not disclose the location,” Detective Geoffrey Cole told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

Cole said that left him no choice but to obtain an arrest warrant charging Hill with unlawful taking and obstruction of justice.

Hill was being held on $15,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail after being spotted and arrested earlier today by Officer Thomas Riedel.

He has a Jan. 17 arraignment scheduled.
