The needle was found on Friday inside the No. 6 School, where 29-year-old Ryan Fogarty of Ridgefield previously taught, borough spokesman William Maer told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

Cliffside Park police arrested Fogarty last night and released him on $10,000 bail pending a court date, he said.

Maer said Fogarty is charged with illegal possession of prescription pills, heroin, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.

An investigation was continuing, he said.
